“Tribute” is the motto chosen by Ports of Tenerife for this year’s edition, the XXIX, of its Christmas Concert, meeting that will be held again in the Los Llanos dock in the port of Tenerife on the night of December 25, at 7:30 p.m., and which is already one of the most recognized and popular congratulations of the Christmas in the Canary Islands.
There will be two tributes that shape this year’s program. One of them, Elfidio Alonso, founding director of Los Sabandeños with the interpretation of some of the most recognized songs of what is undoubtedly one of our most international groups. Among them, Call me Guanche, The moray eel fisher, Unicorn and Alma Llanera.
The second tribute, the one dedicated to the American John Williams, one of the main soundtrack composers in the history of cinema whose career is closely linked to that of the filmmakers Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Among the successes that we can enjoy with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra (OST) under the baton of its honorary director, Víctor Pablo Pérez, are Jaws, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Schindler’s List.
