A 60-year-old individual has tragically passed away after being rescued from Charco beach, located in Los Llanos de Aridane (La Palma), while in a state of cardiorespiratory arrest, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon, prompting personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to respond after receiving notification that a swimmer in cardiorespiratory distress had been pulled from the water and resuscitation efforts were being undertaken.
